Upcoming Events at VFW 9156

July 11th 11:00 AM – 1:30 PM
One Bike at a Time. One Hero at a Time.
And it’s Time…to return one more Veteran to the healing road.
Join Us! We’re putting our 14th injured Wisconsin Veteran Rider back on the road with a Harley! This is our third gifting of the year, and our 14th in just four seasons of changing lives– a far cry from our hopes of gifting one a year!
Hogs For Heroes will be hanging out at The VFW Post 9156 in Sheboygan, WI, from 11am-130 pm, spreading word of our unique mission to heal our injured WI Veterans. The “PRESENTATION OF KEYS CEREMONY” will begin at 11:30 with the VFW Post 9156 conducting a Color Guard & Rifle Salute. Trust us, you don’t want to miss this heartwarming ceremony as we honor all of our Veterans, and specifically recognize and support Sergeant First Class, Army Veteran Todd Richter. Stick around after to hang with friends, meet our recipient and grab a donation lunch from the VFW, with proceeds benefiting us!.
The generous, hard-working hearts of Wiscosnin’s International Union of Operating Engineers Local 139 two fundraisers last year has earned them full bragging rights on making this particular dream come true! They have been incredible supporters of ours right from the start and have generously helped make several bikes happen over the past 4 years.
Miss Todd’s s story of service, struggle and strength? Catch it here: https://conta.cc/2NIxvWX
Please know we will be outdoors, encouraging responsible, personal actions and distancing to enhance the safety of those choosing to attend this gathering. In the event of bad weather, we will move into their banquet hall.
And while you’re there, consider making a donation. We promise 100% of your donation goes straight toward the next bike for another injured WI Veteran rider to return to the road. Peace!
