Post Auxiliary Officers

President - Kathy Mallmann

.

I was elated that I was accepted into the Sheboygan Post 9156 Auxiliary in June of 2009. I was proud to join under the eligibility of my father who served as a member of the 10th Mountain Division ski patrols in Italy during WWII. I also have two brothers who served during the Vietnam conflict in the Navy and Marines. The accountant in me helped me as our Auxiliary Treasurer for 4 years. Our well experienced Auxiliary President of 25 years mentored me as the new president as of 2018. I’ve served as chairperson on various programs such as Membership, WI Veterans Assistance and Scholarships. I’ve assisted in getting the
Auxiliary launched as part of the VFW 9156 Website. Our very active Post keeps me busy as part of the Friday morning Fish Fry setup, Friday night serving, bar tending and cleaning and any other duty as assigned. I am very proud to be part of our Auxiliary and Post 9156.

Senior Vice President – Doris Dallas

My name is Doris Dallas. I was born and raised in the western part of upper Michigan. I graduated in 1969 and moved to Green Bay, WI where I met my husband Herb Dallas. Herb got out of the Marine Corp in 1968 after serving 2 terms in Vietnam. We married in 1971 and moved to Sheboygan, WI. Herb joined VFW 9156 in 2012 after his retirement from Kohler Company. Herb proudly served with the Honor Guard for years. I joined the VFW Post 9156 Auxiliary in 2013. Over the years I have served as a Trustee, Patriotic Instructor and as chairperson for Americanism. I was elected as Senior Vice beginning in July of 2023. Herb was one of the initial founding fathers of the Marine Corp League Detachment #1446 which was formed in 2017. I joined as an associate member in 2020. Herb passed away in 2021 and I want to carry on his wishes for the VFW and Marine Corp League. I have a lot of uncles and my brothers as well as Herb who served in the Military. This is what makes it so important that I am part of the VFW, Auxiliary and Marine Corp League. Many of my duties include working the Friday night Fish Fry, baking and working the Auxiliary Friday dessert table. Additionally you can find me working or serving at the brat fry, chicken fry and chili supper. I am proud to say to everyone how much it means to be a part of the VFW family and the Marine Corp League.

Artie was asked to join VFW 9156 by George Marthenze. Shortly there after Artie encouraged me to join
